Chalcedon

The White Tiger Heir is Heaven’s chosen protector of Chalcedon, the great eastern continent. Like the Phoenix Majestrix, he is not purely immortal, and infrequently dies or vanishes only to appear in a new reincarnation some time later. The Tiger Heir is brash and wild, not entirely civilized, as one might expect from the Guardian of Courage. He places his trust in the 108 star-marked Tiger Generals, the paragons charged by the Tablets of Courage with the realm’s well-being.

Chalcedon is the wildest of the realms. Deep forests, towering cliffs, steep mountains, thundering rivers — there’s less farmland here and more settlements of hunter-gatherers. The beast-like Kin outnumber humans here. The realm has a strong martial arts tradition — there are many monasteries, virtuous or arrogant, teaching the ways of hand and foot and claw and hoof. Primal powers are also more common, reflecting the untamed sections of land.
